Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create clean, efficient, and thoroughly tested code within a high-scale production environment.

• Take ownership of and deliver complete features within a microservices architecture.

• Conduct performance, load, and scalability analyses to guarantee system reliability at scale.

• Engage actively in agile ceremonies and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of engineering practices.

• Uphold high-quality standards by providing thoughtful code reviews and constructive feedback.

• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues to maintain system stability for global customers.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to produce robust and scalable solutions.

• Mentor and assist fellow engineers, fostering a strong engineering culture and adherence to best practices.

• Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and assessing technical talent.

• Utilize modern development tools, including AI-assisted technology, to enhance productivity and development efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java (version 17+) in high-performance production systems.

• Strong proficiency in Java Server technologies: Servlet API, JSP.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and building REST and/or SOAP-based services.

• In-depth knowledge of the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.).

• Practical experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

• Significant experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems design.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and cloud-native applications.

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and contemporary DevOps practices.

• Strong abilities in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

• Capability to design scalable, maintainable architectures and effectively apply design patterns.

• Comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative engineering environments.

• Experience utilizing modern development tools, including AI-assisted tools, in daily workflows.
