Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop robust backend services and APIs that drive enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

• Create scalable and secure Node.js microservices and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript for enterprise users.

• Establish CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures capable of managing sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of key architectural components and deliver production code utilized by enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional Node.js development experience in production settings.

• Advanced knowledge of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime environment.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in live codebases.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices for API security.

• Proven background in SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and data modeling.

• Proficient in Git workflows, code reviews, automated unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of Docker, cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Experience in Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations (highly preferred).

• Background in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products (highly preferred).

• Experience in Vue.js front-end development, especially with Vue 3 Composition API and state management (highly preferred).

• Familiarity with B2B SaaS companies catering to enterprise clients with SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GDPR compliance (highly preferred).

• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem (highly preferred).

• A commitment to a long-term, full-time role; this position is not designed for short-term contractors.
