Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs that support enterprise-level SaaS applications.

• Create scalable and secure Node.js microservices and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design modern front-end experiences for enterprise users utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Establish CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and infrastructure that enhance developer productivity.

• Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures to manage sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of significant portions of the architecture and deliver production code utilized by enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional Node.js development experience in production environments.

• In-depth knowledge of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime.

• Familiarity with backpressure, setImmediate, process.nextTick, and handling unhandled promise rejections.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production codebases.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices for API security.

• Proven proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and the performance implications of schema decisions at scale.

• Competence in Git workflows, code review processes, and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services, and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Preferred experience in Salesforce development with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or API integrations.

• Experience in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products is a plus.

• Preferred familiarity with front-end development using Vue.js, specifically with Vue 3 Composition API and state management.

• Experience in B2B SaaS companies catering to enterprise clients with stringent compliance requirements is desirable.

• Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred.
