Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs tailored for enterprise-level SaaS applications.

• Create scalable and secure Node.js microservices alongside integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Craft modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Establish CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures for handling sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of significant components of the architecture and deliver production-ready code utilized by enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Node.js development within production environments.

• In-depth knowledge of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime.

• Familiarity with concepts such as backpressure, setImmediate, process.nextTick, and unhandled promise rejections.

• Extensive experience using TypeScript in production-level codebases.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices in API security.

• Proven track record with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and database performance at scale.

• Proficient in Git workflows, conducting code reviews, and implementing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of Docker, cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and principles of infrastructure as code.

• Prior experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations is preferred.

• Experience with Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products is a plus.

• Familiarity with Vue.js front-end development, especially Vue 3 Composition API and state management, is preferred.

• Background in B2B SaaS companies catering to enterprise clients with SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GDPR compliance is preferred.

• Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem is advantageous.
