Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs tailored for enterprise-grade SaaS solutions.

• Design scalable and secure microservices using Node.js, along with integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Create modern front-end user experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Establish CI/CD pipeline tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Execute real-time data processing and event-driven architectures for handling sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of crucial architectural components and deliver production code utilized by enterprise clients.

• Manage systems end-to-end and actively contribute to the company’s growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Node.js development within production settings.

• In-depth understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime environment.

• Knowledge of backpressure, setImmediate, process.nextTick, and handling unhandled promise rejections.

• Extensive production experience with TypeScript.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices for API security.

• Proven track record with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and data modeling.

• Proficient in Git workflows, conducting code reviews, and executing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Preferred experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations.

• Experience with Salesforce ISV/AppExchange products is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Vue.js, Vue 3 Composition API, and state management is preferred.

• Prior experience in B2B SaaS solutions catering to enterprise customers with compliance requirements is preferred.

• Understanding of Salesforce DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains is a plus.
