Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs that support enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

• Create scalable and secure Node.js microservices as well as integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Establish CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures that manage sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of significant architecture components and deliver production code for enterprise clients.

• Manage systems end-to-end and contribute to the growth of the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Node.js development within production environments.

• In-depth understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production-level codebases.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and enterprise API security best practices.

• Proven background in SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and performance optimization at scale.

• Familiarity with Git workflows, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid knowledge of Docker, cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Preferred experience in Salesforce development: Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations.

• Prior experience with Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products is preferred.

• Vue.js experience, especially with Vue 3 Composition API and state management, is preferred.

• Experience in B2B SaaS catering to enterprise clients with stringent compliance requirements is preferred.

• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains within the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred.
