Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs for enterprise-level SaaS solutions.

• Create scalable, secure Node.js microservices along with integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Establish CI/CD pipeline tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures that handle sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of significant architectural components and deliver production code utilized by enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Node.js development within production settings.

• In-depth knowledge of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in live codebases.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices for API security.

• Proven skills with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and understanding scalability implications of schema design.

• Proficient in Git workflows, code review practices, automated unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of Docker, cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Preferred experience in Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations.

• Experience in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products is a plus.

• Preferred expertise in Vue.js front-end development, especially with Vue 3 Composition API and state management.

• Familiarity with B2B SaaS environments serving enterprise clients with SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GDPR compliance is advantageous.

• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred.

• Commitment to a long-term engagement; not looking for short-term contractors.
