Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs tailored for enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

• Create scalable and secure Node.js microservices along with integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design modern front-end user experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Construct CI/CD pipeline tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures to manage sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Take ownership of key architectural components and deliver production code.

• Work closely with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional Node.js development experience in production settings.

• In-depth expertise in asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime environment.

• Familiarity with concepts such as backpressure, setImmediate, process.nextTick, and handling unhandled promise rejections.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in real-world codebases.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security best practices.

• Proven skills with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and schema performance at scale.

• Proficiency in Git workflows, code reviews, and automated testing at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels, along with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of Docker, cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Commitment to a long-term full-time engagement.

• Preferred experience in Salesforce development with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations.

• Familiarity with Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products is preferred.

• Experience with Vue.js, Vue 3 Composition API, and state management is preferred.

• Background in enterprise B2B SaaS and compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GDPR is preferred.

• Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains within the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred.
