Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs for enterprise-level SaaS applications.

• Create scalable and secure Node.js microservices, along with integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design modern front-end interfaces utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Establish CI/CD pipeline tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Execute real-time data processing and event-driven architectures for managing sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of significant components of the architecture and deliver production code for enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Node.js development within production settings.

• In-depth understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime environment.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production-level codebases.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices for API security.

• Demonstrated experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and data modeling.

• Proficient in Git workflows, conducting code reviews, automated unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledgeable in Docker, cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Commitment to a long-term full-time position.

• Salesforce development experience, proficiency in Vue.js, familiarity with enterprise B2B SaaS, compliance, and DevOps/DevSecOps are highly advantageous.
