Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belarus.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs tailored for enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

• Design scalable and secure microservices using Node.js, along with integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Create contemporary front-end experiences leveraging Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Establish CI/CD pipeline tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Implement architectures for real-time data processing and event-driven systems to manage sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of substantial components of the architecture and deploy production code utilized by enterprise clients.

• Manage systems comprehensively and contribute to the long-term engineering development of the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on Node.js development experience in production settings.

• In-depth knowledge of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime environment.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in live codebases.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices for enterprise API security.

• Demonstrated experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on query optimization, data modeling, and the performance implications of schema decisions at scale.

• Proficient in Git workflows, code reviews, automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, along with CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of Docker, cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Long-term commitment to a full-time role; we are not looking for short-term contractors.

• Preferred: Experience in Salesforce development with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations.

• Preferred: Background in developing or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products.

• Preferred: Experience with Vue.js, Vue 3 Composition API, and state management.

• Preferred: Experience in B2B SaaS catering to enterprise customers with SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GDPR compliance requirements.

• Preferred: Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
