This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Actively pursue and secure qualified leads in collaboration with Client Management and other departments.
• Create a pipeline and opportunities within designated client accounts.
• Discover new prospects within existing accounts.
• Deliver customized networking and security solutions, compelling value propositions, and innovative revenue models.
• Engage directly with clients at various organizational levels.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and pre-sales architects.
• Establish and nurture client relationships, especially in the financial services and insurance sectors.
• Assist in closing sales by leveraging expertise in networking technology.
• Tackle conceptual technology challenges throughout the sales process.
• Keep an eye on the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategies for market entry.
• Partner with technology vendors to understand and integrate their solutions.
• Communicate client-focused solutions and deliverables instead of mere products.
• Prepare and lead client workshops and presentations.
• Secure contracts and meet assigned sales quotas and targets.
• Tailor recommendations based on clients' business objectives and technology requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue sales opportunities within accounts until closure.
• Implement sales strategies and support territory sales initiatives.
• Identify, forecast, and manage medium- and long-term opportunities.
• Recognize and articulate client risks.
• Utilize opportunity plans, account plans, and various sales methodologies and tools.
• Develop and execute opportunity plans with stakeholder buy-in and regular client follow-ups.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology/systems, sales, or a related field.
• Required industry/vendor sales certifications.
• Preferred SPIN and/or Solution Selling certifications.
• Relevant technology and vendor certifications are advantageous.
• Substantial sales experience in a technology or services environment.
• Advanced experience in an IT Managed Services setting.
• Proven track record in solution-based selling with demonstrable sales over-achievement.
• Experience selling complex networking solutions and services to C-Level executives.
• Capability to creatively resolve a wide array of issues to meet targets and objectives.
• Experience in networking with senior internal and external stakeholders in the area of expertise.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales and financial goals.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain significant customer relationships up to senior leadership levels.
• Skillful in delivering compelling sales presentations.
• Proficient in a team-selling approach.
• In-depth knowledge of competitors and the ability to implement successful sales strategies.
• Ability to define and execute sales strategies with a client-centric focus.

• Strong business acumen.
• Adaptability to quickly adjust to new missions or urgent deadlines.
