Senior Network Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as the leading clinical representative for relationships with healthcare providers in the Central Region.

• Collaborate closely with and offer guidance to senior clinical specialists.

• Provide support for other regions as necessary during the team's expansion.

• Collaborate with Network, analytics, and actuarial teams to assess provider performance regarding total cost of care, quality, and experience.

• Develop engagement strategies with providers, including identifying areas for expansion or reduction of relationships.

• Assume responsibility for provider-group performance on cost, quality, and experience, including MA Stars measures.

• Work in tandem as a member of the medical affairs network leadership team to enhance provider performance across all business lines.

• Ensure the timely completion of deliverables in line with due dates and Federal/state regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree.

• Active and current medical license (MD or DO) without any encumbrances.

• Board Certification with Maintenance of Certification in the specialty of the American Board of Medical Specialties.

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in managed care, value-based care, and quality.

• At least 3 years of work experience specifically in value-based care and quality.

• Capability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization/environment.

• Proficient in engaging with individuals at all levels, including physicians, vendors, community partners, administrative leaders, clinical leaders, and staff.

• Demonstrated ability to be agile, manage multiple priorities, and adjust to changes with enthusiasm.

• Flexibility to work virtually with occasional travel for in-person meetings.
