Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Provides comprehensive design, full configuration, and extensive support for intricate data, voice, storage, and/or video networks, including contact center and network security technology.

• Exhibits expertise in at least one of these areas to effectively address most design inquiries and tackle all but the most difficult support challenges.

• Utilizes all available resources, including support contracts, to securely and efficiently resolve issues, while also offering technical guidance to junior engineers.

• Actively collaborates with vendors and partners to discover methods for enhancing services regarding reliability, performance, and efficiency.

• Designs, configures, and implements complex regional network solutions to facilitate new business opportunities, support organic growth and mergers & acquisitions, and to implement and enhance new application services.

• Offers complete operational support for global and regional network services that provide customer access to revenue-generating applications and colleague access to systems essential for company operations and customer support.

• Ensures that work is systematically organized and maintains ongoing task tracking to guarantee project deadlines are achieved.

• Mentors and cultivates the skills of junior engineers.

• Updates documentation with new insights and findings.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience.

• Master’s / Postgraduate Degree in Network Engineering or a related field is preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering or a related field is required.

• Cisco Certified DevNet Professional, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, CCNP Collaboration with 2+ concentrations, F5 (or other load balancer) Certified Technical Specialist.

• Knowledge of cutting-edge tools and techniques to minimize network latency and enhance network performance.

• Capable of following instructions and seeking clarification when necessary.

• Proficient in performing basic mathematical calculations.

• Attentive to important details with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Able to communicate effectively and convey essential information clearly.

• Capable of interacting effectively with all levels of management.

• Possesses strong multicultural interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrates strong leadership abilities with a willingness to lead, generate new ideas, and take initiative.

• Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed.
