This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Oversee the design and review of enterprise architecture across infrastructure, platform engineering, security, and integration projects.
• Develop, enhance, and manage architecture review processes, which include intake workflows, domain impact evaluations, design consultations, and automated governance frameworks.
• Establish and promote the use of reusable infrastructure-as-code templates and models, such as Terraform modules, networking guidelines, and multi-account frameworks.
• Create and manage both on-premises and multi-region cloud networking architectures, incorporating Transit Gateway, centralized inspection VPC models, multi-account VPC configurations, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Spearhead cloud migration initiatives and data center exit strategies.
• Draft cutover plans and take ownership of infrastructure delivery.
• Collaborate with compliance and security teams.
• Design and deliver enablement programs for engineering teams transitioning to cloud-native, infrastructure-as-code operating models.
• Simplify complex infrastructure and architectural decisions into clear, business-oriented recommendations for both executive and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, increase efficiency, and drive business results.
• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering, with a proven track record of advancement into architecture and governance leadership roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, encompassing Transit Gateway, VPCs, multi-account configurations, IAM, and Network Firewall.
• Proficient in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience in constructing or managing architecture review boards, governance frameworks, or infrastructure standards programs at an enterprise level.
• Strong expertise in cloud networking design, covering multi-region connectivity, network segmentation, inspection architectures, and hybrid/on-premises integration.
• Background in leading or contributing to data center exit or cloud migration projects, including infrastructure-as-code delivery and compliance-compliant design.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI, SOC 2, or similar standards.
• Practical knowledge of GitOps tools like ArgoCD, Helm, or Octopus Deploy for Kubernetes-based workload deployment.
• Current or expired Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) or AWS certifications that reflect foundational infrastructure expertise.
• Experience in designing or overseeing AI/LLM platform adoption at an enterprise scale.
• Background in Managed Service Provider (MSP) or multi-tenant IT environments.
• Must reside in the United States.
