Senior Network Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain scripts and tools aimed at network automation (NetDevOps)

• Execute integrations with APIs for various network devices and platforms

• Architect and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure

• Partner with network, security, and cloud teams on important projects

• Oversee, evaluate, and improve performance and reliability

• Record solutions and best practices for both the team and clients

• Assist in the investigation and resolution of intricate incidents

• Engage in complex networking, security, and cloud initiatives to aid enterprise clients in scaling their environments through automation, observability, and effective engineering practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a DevNet professional, Network Automation Engineer, or Network Engineer with an emphasis on coding

• Expertise in Python or another programming language used for network automation

• Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN, SDN, etc.)

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and various integrations

• Proficient in Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)

• Ability to commit to full-time work as an independent contractor

• Networking certifications (CCNP, DevNet, NSE, JNCIS/JNCIP, or equivalent) — preferred

• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools — preferred

• Prior experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix, etc.) — preferred

• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) — preferred
