Senior .NET Developer, FIX Protocol

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and create high-quality backend services utilizing C#/.NET

• Develop and sustain ASP.NET server-side applications with a focus on scalability and long-term reliability

• Collaborate with distributed messaging frameworks and event-driven architectures for high-throughput trading systems

• Create and enhance NoSQL data solutions, including MongoDB

• Design and implement financial calculation engines, pricing models, and quantitative algorithms

• Integrate and manage FIX Protocol implementations for electronic trading workflows

• Develop and enforce identity, authentication, and authorization frameworks across backend services

• Integrate observability platforms like Datadog or Elasticsearch for effective monitoring and diagnostics

• Ensure numerical accuracy in financial computations, encompassing rounding, accruals, and market conventions

• Collaborate with product, UI/UX, frontend, and DevOps teams on development and deployment strategies

• Construct reusable, testable backend infrastructure while maintaining coding standards

• Implement best practices for telemetry and monitoring using Sentry or similar tools

• Assess and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and design patterns

• Mentor engineers on best practices in backend development

• Contribute to frontend solutions using React and Redux/Rematch as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of backend development experience

• Proficient in C#/.NET; experience with Java may be considered

• Demonstrated experience in building and designing APIs

• Familiarity with distributed messaging systems and event-driven architectures

• Experience with FIX Protocol in a capital markets or electronic trading context

• Background in financial calculations, pricing engines, or quantitative models

• Practical experience with QuantLib or similar quantitative finance libraries

• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, IdentityServer, or similar authentication frameworks

• Proficient in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

• Experience in capital markets, fintech, trading platforms, fixed income, or securities pricing

• Preferred experience with Datadog, Sentry, Elasticsearch, SignalR/WebSockets, Pulsar, Databricks, Lakehouse, React, Redux/Rematch

• Experience in mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership
