Senior .Net Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications utilizing the .NET platform.

• Create scalable backend services and APIs for cloud-based email and Microsoft 365 solutions.

• Engage in the modernization of existing applications and the transition towards modern architectures.

• Collaborate with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and various engineering teams.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code adhering to engineering best practices.

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve production-related issues.

• Take part in code reviews to enhance development standards and engineering practices.

• Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, development frameworks, and AI-assisted software engineering practices.

• Contribute to email hosting, Microsoft 365 integration, and cloud services utilized by over one million hosted mailboxes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience with .NET technologies.

• Strong expertise in C# and .NET.

• Experience in building RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Comprehensive knowledge of ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, MVC, and SQL Server.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Practical experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar solutions.

• Capability to use AI tools responsibly for code generation, debugging, documentation, testing, and refactoring while validating the results produced.
