Senior Microsoft Identity – MIM Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, and implement intricate hybrid identity architectures.

• Develop target architectures for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity setups.

• Conduct technical assessments and lead architecture workshops.

• Design and manage MIM environments.

• Create complex synchronization solutions between directory services.

• Design join, projection, and correlation logic, along with attribute mappings, transformation rules, and custom connectors.

• Address complex synchronization and data quality challenges.

• Implement and enhance Entra Connect Sync, Entra Cloud Sync, PTA, PHS, Seamless SSO, and Federation Services.

• Integrate Active Directory with Microsoft Entra ID.

• Plan and execute tenant-to-tenant migrations, AD consolidations, multi-forest transformations, and M&A/carve-out initiatives.

• Cleanse extensive identity data repositories.

• Develop identity integrations, extensions, and tooling solutions using PowerShell and C#.

• Automate operations, governance, and migration workflows utilizing modern APIs and cloud services.

• Lead workstreams and facilitate workshops effectively.

• Create concepts and decision documents.

• Present findings to C-level stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).

• Profound understanding of the MIM synchronization engine, encompassing the metaverse, connector space, management agents, join/projection/sync rules, attribute flows, identity correlation, data mapping, and transformation.

• Strong expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect Sync, Entra Cloud Sync, hybrid identity, LDAP, DNS, PKI/certificate infrastructures, Kerberos, and NTLM.

• Comprehensive knowledge of SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0, SCIM 2.0, and WS-Federation.

• Practical experience with SSO, federation, AD FS, MFA, and Conditional Access.

• Experience with SQL Server, data analysis, and data modeling in the context of identity.

• Excellent proficiency in PowerShell, C#, and .NET.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, XML, JSON, and Git.

• Strong consulting capabilities, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication skills.

• Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level).

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
