Senior Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead workshops for discovery, assessment, and architecture within Microsoft 365 and Azure.

• Design solutions that align with both business and technical requirements.

• Execute tenant migrations, consolidations, and separation projects related to divestitures.

• Oversee identity management, mail, Teams, SharePoint, endpoint, and data migration processes.

• Configure and enhance Microsoft 365 identity, collaboration, security, and compliance features.

• Implement Microsoft Purview compliance solutions.

• Create High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), implementation plans, and operational documentation.

• Serve as a subject matter expert across various technical workstreams.

• Conduct platform health assessments while identifying technical risks and dependencies.

• Develop plans for remediation, optimization, and mitigation.

• Provide guidance on Microsoft licensing, governance, and security best practices.

• Assist with the transition to operational support teams.

• Collaborate directly with business and technical stakeholders in a client-facing capacity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in delivering Microsoft 365 projects within enterprise environments, including M&A, divestitures, or tenant-to-tenant migration/transformation programs.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and facilitating workshops.

• Ability to convert business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Comfortable working independently, balancing consulting and hands-on technical delivery.

• Experience in producing formal architecture and design documentation (HLD/LLD).

• Background in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.

• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and presentation abilities.

• Desirable: Knowledge of Azure infrastructure and landing zone design.

• Desirable: Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Nerdio.

• Desirable: Familiarity with Microsoft Purview compliance implementations.
