Senior Medical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Take the lead on projects as necessary and assume responsibility for the scientific/editorial aspects.

• Create high-quality scientific written content in alignment with project briefs.

• Edit and proofread materials produced by other team members while offering constructive feedback.

• Analyze and interpret data from preclinical and clinical research articles.

• Keep up-to-date with medical advancements and perform literature searches.

• Engage in client meetings and teleconferences.

• Attend scientific conferences as required.

• Integrate clinical trial data and convey its significance for physician and consumer audiences as per client specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacology, or medicine.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong financial, administrative, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in medical communications.

• High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

• Advanced computer proficiency.

• Familiarity with Internet searches and Microsoft Windows software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capacity to maintain complex spreadsheets.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, including on weekends.
