Registered Nurse, Clinical Documentation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

• Conduct clinical documentation specialist responsibilities for Highpoint Health Sumner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Tennessee or Multi-State.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, or RN Diploma in Nursing.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) at the time of hire.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA or ARC within 12 months of employment if not already current upon hire.

• Coder Certification or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) required, along with a degree in a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience in an adult inpatient clinical setting or 4 years of coding experience (CCS) required.

• A bachelor’s degree or a degree in a health-related field is preferred.

• At least 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.
