📋 Description

• Collaborate with potential medical school candidates to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing their profiles and craft persuasive application documents.

• Cultivate relationships with applicants and their families, offering strategic and tactical advice on school selection, essays, resumes, recommendations, interviews, and the comprehensive admissions process.

• Determine the most suitable medical programs and schools for each student, providing insights on program research and admissions resources.

• Assist with project planning, manage application timelines, and track progress using internal organizational tools.

• Remain updated on medical school admissions processes and programs to guide clients on school selection and the nuances of applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Admissions Committee Experience: Must have participated on a medical school admissions committee or board, with experience in reviewing applications and making decisions on acceptances and rejections.

• Must hold an MD or DO degree.

• 5–7 years of experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and/or consulting for medical school admissions.

• A strong enthusiasm for coaching.

• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.

• Proficient English reading, writing, and editing skills, especially for medical school essays and personal statements.

• Strong verbal communication skills.

• Expertise in project management and applicant tracking.
