Senior Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Deliver medical monitoring and review services tailored to studies, projects, and programs.

• Oversee the medical components of contracted tasks.

• Manage safety parameters effectively.

• Engage in discussions regarding medical concerns with clients, investigators, and healthcare professionals during both pre- and post-approval services.

• Offer medical consultation to team members and address study-related medical inquiries.

• Liaise with associates and clients to guarantee proper adherence to procedures.

• Evaluate and analyze safety data to detect and address emerging safety signals.

• Conduct medical reviews of individual case safety reports, serious adverse event reports, and clinical outcome reports.

• Support business development initiatives.

• Present PPD's standard medical safety procedures to clients during business development meetings.

• Engage with medical communities to explore opportunities for expanding PPD's business.

• Take part in the training of project teams.

• Provide therapeutic and protocol training as necessary.

• Draft, review, and approve reports, regulatory submissions, and protocols, ensuring the medical content is accurate and comprehensive.

• Competence in providing therapeutic and protocol training.

• Skill in writing, reviewing, and approving reports, regulatory submissions, and protocols.

• Effective communication with clients, investigators, healthcare professionals, associates, and project teams.

• Experience in the neuroscience therapeutic area as indicated by the role.
