Senior Mechanical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee a design team in daily operations related to the creation of contract documents and the management of ongoing construction projects.

• Collaborate with the supervisor to formulate contract documents.

• Oversee the contract administration phase for various projects.

• Engage with contractors and architectural teams.

• Evaluate shop drawings.

• Perform site inspections.

• Assess requests for information (RFIs).

• Generate change control notices (CCNs).

• Conduct field assessments of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, medical gas, sprinkler, and standpipe systems.

• Manage multiple clients while leading various project teams.

• Travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in designing mechanical systems for commercial, institutional, and/or industrial buildings.

• Bachelor's or college degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.

• Preferred registration with provincial licensing bodies PEO and OACETT.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.

• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and lead diverse project teams effectively.

• Solid history of project delivery from both technical and financial viewpoints.

• Established skills in leadership, client service, and project management.

• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

• Capable of problem-solving and making analytical, timely, and well-considered decisions.

• Advanced knowledge of the provincial building code, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards.

• Familiarity with Revit software.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

• Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle are required.

• Professional Engineer certification is mandatory.
