Senior Math Libraries Engineer – LLM Integration, Developer Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and execution of APIs and documentation structures for math libraries with a focus on being LLM-first: introspectable, explainable, and easily utilized by AI agents.

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely release of LLM-enhanced library versions.

• Develop metrics, tools, and processes to assess the impact and quality of LLM/agentic code generation.

• Create prototypes and solutions to convert math libraries' APIs into representations that are friendly for LLMs across popular code generation tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of LLMs, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, constructing RAGs, MCP, and developing agenting tools.

• Demonstrated experience in designing clear, composable APIs and producing high-quality, well-documented code for intricate technical domains.

• Capability to manage multiple projects effectively and work autonomously with little guidance.

• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.

• Knowledge of CUDA-X math library APIs such as cuBLAS, cuFFT, cuSOLVER, cuSPARSE, etc., is preferred and will stand out.

• A PhD or MSc degree in Computational Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience).
