Senior Manual QA Tester – Software Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Establish test strategies, execution methodologies, and coverage frameworks for web-based SaaS applications.

• Conduct functional, regression, and pre-release testing activities.

• Utilize browser DevTools and virtual environments like BrowserStack for root-cause analysis and diagnostic evaluations.

• Identify, log, monitor, and retest defects using Jira and test management systems such as TestRail.

• Collaborate with engineering leads, business analysts, and product managers regarding release decisions and quality benchmarks.

• Define the scope and estimate QA efforts for sprint planning and feature deliverables.

• Enhance QA processes and adapt to future test automation and AI-driven testing workflows.

• Mentor and provide support to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software quality assurance or test analyst positions.

• Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Practical experience in Agile development environments.

• Strong web diagnostic skills utilizing browser DevTools (Console, Network, Elements).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities centered on root-cause analysis.

• Capacity to work collaboratively and independently in a remote, cross-functional team setting.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong technical understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.

• Familiarity with contemporary front-end frameworks such as Angular v17.

• Experience using Jira and Confluence.

• Proficiency with TestRail and BrowserStack.

• Basic knowledge of SQL or Azure SQL databases.

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts like Azure DevOps.

• Preferred relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Previous experience in SaaS, payroll, or complex financial workflow platforms is advantageous.
