This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Develop the firm's strategies, solutions, and capabilities related to regulatory compliance, disputes, and investigation services within the Life Sciences sector.
β’ Collaborate with leadership in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice and work across various business lines within the firm.
β’ Execute large-scale and intricate compliance, disputes, investigations, and advisory projects.
β’ Engage with boards of directors, client executives, government authorities, industry professionals, law firms, regulators, mediators, arbitrators, judges, and juries.
β’ Drive opportunities for internal and external growth, cultivate new business, forge relationships, qualify leads, and define opportunities.
β’ Participate in relevant healthcare or life sciences industry groups and attend conference events.
β’ Mentor and coach talent while also being involved in the recruitment of new personnel.
β’ Oversee multiple large engagements and assess the quality of work and performance, including both qualitative and quantitative tasks.
β’ Provide expert witness testimony when applicable.
β’ Ensure the delivery of top-notch client service and identify additional value-added services.
β’ Adhere to risk management standards, including timely billing and collections.
β’ A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, health care operations, health policy, clinical discipline, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
β’ Over 10 years of experience at a Partner/Director/Senior Management level or a combination of life sciences industry experience, public accounting, and life sciences consulting is required.
β’ A minimum of 10 years of experience in life sciences accounting/advisory segments is required.
β’ Prior or current consulting experience at a public accounting firm or a large to mid-sized consulting firm within the life sciences sector.
β’ Strong understanding of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the Life Sciences industry, including the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and related FDA regulations; Federal False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback statute; Medicare and Medicaid, Veterans Administration, and 340B drug pricing requirements.
β’ Proven business development success with a transferable network and revenue generation of at least $3M; capability to expand towards $3M to $5M+ annually.
β’ Outstanding executive communication abilities, including the capacity to articulate complex technical, analytical, reimbursement, and damages issues to boards, C-suite clients, law firms, regulators, mediators, arbitrators, judges, and juries.
β’ Experience in providing expert witness testimony is preferred.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel.
β’ Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.
