This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Lead and manage a team comprising one Leave Administrator and one Total Rewards Analyst.
• Take ownership of the design and development of Evolve’s compensation philosophy and program framework, which includes job architecture, pay grades, and salary ranges.
• Collaborate with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and leaders regarding compensation decisions for new hires, promotions, transfers, and merit cycles.
• Design and oversee annual bonus and commission incentive plans alongside Finance, Sales Operations, and Payroll.
• Direct the benefits strategy and administration, encompassing health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and wellness programs.
• Manage vendor relationships, broker negotiations, and the annual open enrollment process.
• Supervise leave-of-absence programs and streamline processes while ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations.
• Keep track of pay transparency laws, FLSA, ACA, and other compliance necessities; formulate policies and perform regular audits.
• Utilize data and market insights to assess program effectiveness and propose enhancements.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in supporting compensation, benefits, or HR operations functions.
• At least 5 years of experience leading a Total Rewards team in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
• Experience in private-equity-backed organizations is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation practices.
• Strategic and hands-on leadership capabilities.
• A keen interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance total rewards processes and programs.
• Proven experience in creating and managing compensation plans.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, including Sheets, Slides, and Docs.
• Preferred experience with ERP or HRIS implementations.
• Comprehensive understanding of benefit design and administration, compensation practices, HR technology, and analytics.
• Knowledgeable about FMLA, ADA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, and employment legislation.
• Familiarity with federal and state pay transparency laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide HR metrics and data for informed decision-making.
• Capability to create and implement organization-wide People programs and initiatives.
• Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
