This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement Bridgeway's compensation philosophy, job architecture, and pay equity framework.
• Oversee the annual merit cycle, which includes budget modeling, manager guidance, system configuration, and executive reporting.
• Evaluate compensation surveys and compare roles against market standards.
• Provide compensation advice for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers.
• Assist with total compensation budgeting, workforce cost modeling, and analysis of compensation.
• Lead the strategy, design, and ongoing management of benefits for health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs.
• Facilitate open enrollment, employee communications, system configuration, and coordination with carriers/vendors.
• Manage relationships with benefits brokers, TPA, stop-loss carriers, and 401(k) record keepers.
• Ensure compliance of benefits and leave programs with ACA, ERISA, FMLA, and specific state requirements.
• Spearhead HR Operations service delivery throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Directly supervise, coach, and develop the HR Operations Specialist.
• Handle compliance reporting for ACA, EEOC, and IRS/DOL.
• Enhance HRIS data integrity, automation, integration, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Create and refine HR SOPs and process documentation.
• Analyze workforce costs, compensation equity, and benefits utilization data.
• Lead and contribute to human capital initiatives, including system implementations, program launches, policy updates, and organizational changes.
• Utilize generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to optimize workflows and enhance outcomes.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience with proven expertise in compensation program design, job architecture, market benchmarking, and incentive design.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a comprehensive benefits portfolio, including self-funded health plan administration, 401(k)/retirement plan administration, vendor and broker relationships, open enrollment execution, and regulatory compliance.
• Previous experience managing or formally mentoring direct reports.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in compensation data modeling; advanced Excel skills are required.
• Familiarity with ADP WorkforceNow and Lattice is highly desired; experience with comparable HRIS/payroll and performance management platforms is required.
• Working knowledge of FLSA, ACA, ERISA, FMLA, 401(k)/retirement compliance, and IRS/DOL regulations.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; capability to advise and influence senior leaders.
• Ability to function as a player-coach with a high level of autonomy and strategic insight.
• High level of discretion, integrity, and independent judgment in managing sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience with generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CCP or CEBS is strongly preferred; HRCI or SHRM certification is a plus.
