Senior Manager, Strategic Finance, Commerce Go-to-Market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the main finance partner for Commerce go-to-market leaders, assisting with daily decisions and long-term strategies.

• Oversee annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and continuous performance management related to revenue, gross profit, headcount, operating expenses, and essential commercial metrics.

• Create driver-based forecasts that link pipeline, conversion, sales capacity, productivity, pricing, product adoption, transaction activity, and retention to financial results.

• Assess investments across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, channels, and customer segments by utilizing business cases, scenario analysis, and return-on-investment frameworks.

• Develop clear, decision-ready materials for senior leadership and company planning initiatives.

• Guide and mentor finance team members while actively engaging in the team’s most impactful analyses and deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in strategic finance, financial planning and analysis, sales or go-to-market finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical position.

• Proven experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, or other commercial organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to lead financial planning and performance analysis, showcasing strong modeling skills in forecasting, resource allocation, scenario analysis, and investment returns.

• Exceptional analytical skills with experience in handling complex models, large datasets, and analysis tools (SQL, Python).

• Proficiency in AI, including analysis, insight generation, process automation, and improvement.

• Background in payments, financial technology, merchant services, marketplaces, commerce, or other transaction-based businesses is advantageous.

• At least 2 years of experience in people management, including coaching and developing finance professionals.
