This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete delivery and lifecycle management for OneStream software products and services.
• Direct the technical design and architecture for enterprise applications, platforms, frameworks, integrations, APIs, data models, and the experiences surrounding installation and upgrades, as well as extensibility patterns.
• Engage actively in architecture reviews, design evaluations, code-quality assessments, debugging, customer issue analysis, and the resolution of intricate technical challenges.
• Guarantee software quality through automated testing, security, performance, maintainability, backward compatibility, upgradeability, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Product Management to convert business outcomes and customer requirements into technical priorities, plans, and releases.
• Work with Architecture and engineering partners to align on platform patterns, release compatibility, cloud requirements, and technical direction.
• Propel engineering practices such as source control, branching, peer review, CI/CD, test automation, documentation, telemetry, release governance, and readiness for production support.
• Leverage customer feedback, support trends, quality signals, telemetry, retrospectives, and postmortems to prioritize reliability enhancements.
• Recognize and eliminate technical, process, and organizational bottlenecks.
• Encourage the responsible use of AI-assisted development and testing practices.
• Manage roadmap execution, including scope, dependencies, timelines, quality, risks, and measurable outcomes.
• Relay technical direction, delivery status, dependencies, trade-offs, and risks to stakeholders.
• Build, lead, and nurture high-performing engineering teams.
• Coach and mentor engineering managers, technical leaders, and software engineers.
• Assist with succession planning, career development, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts.
• Foster effective cross-team collaboration and resource reuse across OneStream Engineering.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 10 years of software engineering experience in delivering complex enterprise applications or SaaS products.
• At least 5 years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Proven experience in delivering production software through several release cycles, encompassing planning, development, quality validation, deployment, servicing, and customer support.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture and engineering practices.
• Familiarity with .NET-based applications, web technologies, APIs, relational data, distributed systems, automated testing, CI/CD, and cloud-hosted deployment patterns.
• Experience in leading technical and organizational transformations.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Product, Architecture, Quality, Cloud, Support, and Engineering teams.
• Preferred experience with enterprise software, Corporate Performance Management, Enterprise Performance Management, financial systems, analytics, or similar business applications.
• Preferred expertise in building extensible enterprise applications, platforms, or product portfolios.
• Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native services, observability, secure software development, and production operations.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration, AI-assisted software development, modern developer tooling, and automation frameworks is preferred.
• Prior experience with enterprise application compatibility, installation, upgrades, release governance, and backward-compatible APIs or data contracts is preferred.
• Previous experience with OneStream products or platforms is preferred.
• Strong technical judgment and systems thinking capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead, scale, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
