This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to gather requirements, offer feedback to engineering teams, and develop solutions that contribute to their success.
• Lead, guide, and oversee a team of engineers.
• Educate partner teams on best practices for cloud-based solutions.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of NVIDIA's development across several sectors, including autonomous vehicles, chip manufacturing, hardware design, and AI.
• Present to internal stakeholders and NVIDIA leadership regarding roadmaps, vision, and demonstrations.
• Engage with open-source communities related to the software utilized and developed by NVIDIA.
• Manage a software engineering team within the NVIDIA DGX Cloud Kubernetes organization, catering to both internal and external clients.
• Assist in constructing and operating a GPU cloud platform employing NVIDIA technologies and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 10 years of experience in designing and building distributed software systems.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience leading a team of engineers with diverse skills across various organizations.
• Strong proficiency in coding with mainstream systems programming languages such as Golang, Java, C, C++, or Rust.
• Proven ability to design and implement maintainable APIs for consumers.
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or distributed task scheduling.
• Understanding of the underlying Linux Kernel scheduling, memory management, and networking subsystems.
• Familiarity with infrastructure, networking, storage, and DevOps scripting/tooling.
• Experience in container orchestration (containerd, CRI-O, Docker).
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management methodologies.
• Ability to achieve cross-functional consensus while navigating ambiguity.
• Experience with a Hyperscale Cloud Service Provider (whether public-facing or not).
• Proven experience in measuring and enhancing operational excellence.
• Strong, persuasive, and effective presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, mentoring, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills (both short-term and long-term).
