Senior Manager – SAP Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage intricate, full life-cycle SAP transformation programs, encompassing SAP M&A and SAP S/4HANA initiatives.

• Assume responsibility for substantial SAP engagements and programs that possess considerable scope, complexity, and commercial significance.

• Oversee delivery concerning scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, quality, and customer expectations.

• Act as the senior customer point of contact throughout the transformation lifecycle.

• Facilitate executive-level customer discussions, steering committees, program reviews, and escalation management.

• Convert business objectives into SAP transformation roadmaps and actionable programs.

• Coordinate functional, technical, business, and project teams.

• Provide leadership in SAP functional areas and end-to-end business processes.

• Manage project financials, commercial performance, resource needs, scope alterations, and delivery commitments.

• Identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships and generate additional consulting business.

• Cultivate senior-level customer relationships and leverage a professional network for new business ventures.

• Contribute to the formulation and execution of go-to-market strategies.

• Support and lead customer presentations, proposals, solution development, estimates, and sales pursuits.

• Collaborate with sales and consulting leadership to attract new customers and expand strategic accounts.

• Contribute to the growth and development of the SAP consulting practice.

• Guide and mentor multidisciplinary SAP consulting teams.

• Provide direction to Project Managers, Solution Architects, Stream Leads, and consultants.

• Initially, there will be no direct reports; however, there is an opportunity to build and develop a team as the business expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10–12 years of SAP consulting experience.

• A solid consulting background with a progression from a functional SAP role to Functional Lead, Lead Architect, Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar leadership positions.

• Proven experience in leading full life-cycle SAP transformation projects, including SAP S/4HANA programs.

• Responsible for at least 3 large SAP projects/programs valued at $2M or more.

• Accountable for significant customer engagements and portfolios/programs representing approximately $5M or more in annual revenue.

• Strong program and project management skills, covering scope, budget, resources, risk, governance, and executive stakeholder management.

• Extensive functional SAP expertise in Finance, Controlling, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related core business processes.

• Comprehensive end-to-end process knowledge across the complete process landscape.

• Experience with at least 2 SAP transition scenarios: Brownfield, Greenfield, and Selective Data Transition.

• Experience contributing to sales, presales, and go-to-market activities.

• Established relationships with customers and the market.

• Excellent customer-facing, presentation, negotiation, and executive communication skills.

• An entrepreneurial mindset.

• Preferred: experience in project-based manufacturing, discrete manufacturing, process industry/chemicals, life sciences and pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, utilities, and energy.

• Preferred: experience in developing new customer relationships or entering new markets.

• Preferred: experience in building consulting capabilities, teams, or service offerings.

• Preferred: familiarity with SAP transformation methodologies and complex S/4HANA transformation environments.

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
