Senior Manager, SAP Technology & Platform Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive SAP technical landscape, encompassing Basis, ABAP development, integrations, security, and operational support.

• Take responsibility for the availability, performance, reliability, monitoring, tuning, capacity planning, transports, backup, and disaster recovery of the SAP platform.

• Guarantee 24x7 operational stability through effective incident, problem, and change management.

• Lead and nurture cross-functional technical teams.

• Define and oversee SLAs, KPIs, and accountability across technical services.

• Maintain and enhance the SAP ECC EHP7 landscape.

• Manage technical risks related to obsolete components, patching restrictions, custom code, and technical debt.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, audits, and regulatory standards.

• Direct the SAP Cloud and S/4HANA strategy, roadmap, and technical preparedness.

• Propel architecture, data migration, technical conversion, and clean-core remediation workstreams.

• Collaborate with business and architecture teams to develop scalable solutions.

• Supervise SAP integrations and data flows, including EDI, IDocs, middleware, and external partners.

• Ensure resilient, monitored, and traceable business transaction processing.

• Manage SAP security and compliance, including access controls, segregation of duties, audits, and cybersecurity alignment.

• Oversee vendor and partner relationships for SLA performance, cost efficiency, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP, covering Basis/platform operations, ABAP and custom development lifecycle, integrations (IDoc, EDI, APIs, middleware), and SAP Security/GRC.

• Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary, geographically distributed technical teams.

• Proven experience in managing complex SAP ECC landscapes.

• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA architecture and migration strategies.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and SAP hosting models.

• Experience in migrating on-premise SAP solutions to cloud platforms.

• Background in vendor management and outsourced service delivery.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience with SAP RISE/Private Cloud, Clean Core strategy, SAP best practices, or spin-offs/TSA environments is preferred.
