This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take responsibility for the architecture and execution of the migration to Revenue Cloud, encompassing target-state revenue process design, product and pricing model, data migration, and project phasing.
• Oversee the multi-year Salesforce platform roadmap and align investments with business outcomes.
• Make informed recommendations regarding build-versus-buy and build-versus-configure decisions.
• Assess and select AppExchange solutions and implementation partners.
• Manage integrations and data architecture, including integration patterns, middleware strategy, master data management, and data governance.
• Lead the onboarding process for acquisitions and new business units onto the Salesforce platform.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and governance protocols.
• Act as the design authority for major changes and maintain a prioritized technical debt backlog.
• Direct release and DevOps strategy, incorporating source control, environment and sandbox management, and deployment pipelines.
• Transform the Salesforce roadmap and licensing changes into actionable business plans, advising leadership on cost, risk, and opportunity.
• Collaborate with Information Security on platform security architecture, access model design, and audit and compliance requirements.
• Lead, develop, and retain a team of Salesforce administrators.
• Manage direct reports through regular one-on-ones, goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plans.
• Ensure the reliable operation of the platform, including incident response, integration failure triage, Flow error monitoring, and lifecycle management of certificates, credentials, and Connected Apps.
• Establish team working practices for intake, prioritization, estimation, documentation, peer review, and definition of done.
• Oversee capacity planning and prioritization across various departments.
• Mentor the team on Salesforce architecture and best practices.
• Manage relationships with implementation partners, contractors, and Salesforce account and support teams.
• Represent the Salesforce team to executive stakeholders, effectively communicating the roadmap, progress, risks, and resource needs.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working with the Salesforce platform, including time spent in an architecture or lead solution design role.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team, managing direct reports, or in a similar capacity.
• Experience integrating acquired companies or new business units into an existing Salesforce instance.
• Practical experience with Salesforce CPQ internals, including amendment and renewal logic, subscription pricing, and the quote-to-order data model.
• Familiarity with Revenue Cloud (RLM / Revenue Cloud Advanced).
• Proven experience in architecting and administering complex Salesforce environments with multiple integrations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect credentials, or demonstrated progress towards obtaining them.
• Experience leading a migration or replatforming of an existing quoting, pricing, or revenue system.
