This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +11 more states.
• Lead a team of Diagnostic Hematology Specialists to surpass sales targets.
• Make daily sales function decisions, which include deploying resources, allocating costs, and directing sales activities.
• Develop and execute sales plans for specific areas and territories.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and oversee Diagnostic Hematology Specialists within a designated geographic area.
• Manage sales results, sales activities, and cross-functional initiatives within the designated geography.
• Identify critical issues and commit to actions after formulating solutions aligned with strategic objectives, resource constraints, and organizational values.
• Set individual goals for team members and align them with broader team and company objectives.
• Provide coaching and ongoing feedback to enhance performance, accountability, growth, and development.
• Foster an environment of belonging, respect, and open communication.
• Assess, mentor, and lead the performance of Diagnostic Hematology Specialists.
• Conduct annual and continuous performance evaluations.
• Oversee the execution of sales strategies, tactics, and sales and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including KAM, NAM, MSL, and internal partner groups.
• Build and maintain key customer relationships, facilitating mutually beneficial business solutions.
• Ensure compliance and provide necessary training.
• Prepare individuals for future career advancement.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• A. / B.S. degree with 12 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotech, or medical device sales, preferably in Hematology/Oncology.
• Over 2 years of sales management experience in Hematology/Oncology and/or diagnostics.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional partners to access resources and optimize outcomes.
• Excellent skills in listening, time management, organization, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to lead and manage regular strategy, collaboration, and coordination discussions with the Regional Director.
• Capability to articulate the relevant applications of the company’s technology across a variety of research specialties.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and assemble appropriate internal resources to meet customer needs.
• Ability to operate confidently and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience utilizing Salesforce or a similar CRM system to manage territory business.
• Willingness and capacity to travel frequently, with travel requirements potentially exceeding 60%.
