Senior Manager, Project Controls, Electrical Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the cost management strategy and deliverables for large-scale capital projects.

• Conduct quantity take-offs, analyses, estimates, and studies specific to electrical work scope.

• Utilize NECA resources to assess labor productivities.

• Incorporate third-party plans and cost elements into consolidated cost plans.

• Deliver comprehensive cost risk assessments, issues, and mitigation strategies to project managers, clients, construction managers, engineering teams, and external partners.

• Manage project accruals and forecasting on a monthly, biweekly, and weekly basis as necessary.

• Assist in risk management and coordinate quantitative risk evaluations.

• Create and guide earned value components for intricate manufacturing projects.

• Aid in the development of project control and execution plans.

• Review and authorize invoices from subcontractors and third parties.

• Support the creation of RFPs, RFQs, and engage in project-related contract negotiations.

• Lead the development of project cost estimates and value engineering initiatives.

• Formulate cost management procedures for Cushman & Wakefield and its clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a cost management specialist on capital projects, encompassing both design and construction phases.

• Proficiency in electrical estimating, with the ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and perform quantity take-offs.

• Proven experience collaborating on teams within a complex, matrixed environment.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Required experience in the construction sector.

• Preferred experience in data centers and life sciences.

• Strong preference for additional experience in life sciences.

• Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
