Senior Manager – Professional Services

📋 Description

• Provide continuous and direct leadership for a team of subordinate managers and individual contributors tasked with designing and developing engineering solutions.

• Oversee headcount, deliverables, timelines, and costs for various ongoing projects and programs.

• Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently while meeting goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets.

• Collaborate with program managers, marketing, supply chain, technical leaders, and executives to communicate the status of programs and facilitate strategic decision-making.

• Maintain relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers concerning deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with outsourced resources.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and reducing costs.

• Oversee hiring processes, annual performance planning, coaching, and career development for direct reports.

• Champion organization-wide performance standards and foster team member and process development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A first-level university degree or equivalent experience is required.

• An advanced university degree is preferred.

• Typically requires 10 or more years of relevant work experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in people management is necessary.

• Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, team building, conflict resolution, and management.

• Proficient project management skills, including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience managing human capital across various geographical locations.

• Advanced communication skills suitable for written, verbal, and presentation contexts.

• Mastery of English and the local language is essential.

• Strong business acumen, technical expertise, and industry experience in one or more areas of engineering, technology, and product domains.

• Advanced skills in multitasking and prioritization.

• Proficient relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
