This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the forecasting, budgeting, and SaaS KPI reporting mechanisms for a private equity-supported SaaS organization.
• Provide precise revenue and operating profit forecasts.
• Manage the monthly performance package, which includes KPI scorecards, margin bridges, variance analysis, and actionable insights for executive leadership.
• Develop and sustain scalable, driver-based models covering revenue, margin, headcount, and cash flow.
• Create and uphold a reliable SaaS/ARR reporting framework, encompassing NRR, cohort analysis, CAC/LTV, and unit economics.
• Lead the annual budgeting process.
• Construct multi-scenario models with parameters for runway, profitability, and capital allocation.
• Provide scenario planning and sensitivity analyses for pricing strategies, go-to-market investment decisions, and headcount planning.
• Assist with M&A diligence and integration modeling, including a quality of earnings review.
• Collaborate with the Director/VP of FP&A on overall diligence efforts.
• Partner with Operations, People, and Sales leaders to ensure plan integrity and accuracy in headcount forecasting.
• Potentially oversee a direct report as the team expands.
• 6-9 years of progressive experience in FP&A, including a background in high-growth or private equity-backed SaaS settings.
• Strong understanding of SaaS/subscription business models and metrics (ARR, MRR, NRR, cohort analysis, CAC/LTV, unit economics) as well as driver-based forecasting techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain complex, audit-ready operating models that link financial indicators to business drivers.
• Capable of navigating unclean data, undefined processes, and ambiguity in a lean, resource-limited environment.
• Some direct involvement with M&A diligence and/or integration modeling, with comfort in supporting a senior deal lead.
• Advanced skills in structured, version-controlled Excel or Google Sheets modeling.
• SQL proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with private equity reporting standards and investor-style board meeting rhythms.
• Proficient in scenario planning techniques, including the establishment of target and stretch financial objectives.
• Hands-on experience or a keen interest in utilizing AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance modeling, analysis, and reporting processes.
