This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Educate and engage customers regarding coding, coverage, payment, health policies, and payer policies associated with Philips products and services.
• Act as a senior reimbursement subject matter expert for Philips Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics products and services.
• Provide guidance to customers and internal teams on provider economics, coding, coverage, payment, health policies, and the requirements of Medicare and commercial payers.
• Ensure that reimbursement information, resources, training, and guidance for customers are accurate, compliant, and effectively communicated.
• Develop and implement field reimbursement strategies aimed at reducing access barriers, expanding payer coverage, and enhancing payment pathways.
• Collaborate with field sales leadership to establish regional priorities, support customer education, and achieve reimbursement goals.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, payers, and stakeholders through reimbursement-focused engagement, payer presentations, and provider education.
• Convey complex reimbursement and health economic information to payers, providers, sales teams, and cross-functional partners.
• Work alongside HEMAR, Marketing, Sales, Medical Education, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Identify challenges in payer access and develop programs and tools related to provider economics.
• Provide insights from the payer and hospital perspectives to inform internal strategy, product development, and market access planning.
• Oversee annual reimbursement objectives, KPIs, reporting systems, and productivity tracking.
• Stay updated on health policy, reimbursement trends, and industry best practices.
• Support change initiatives under general supervision.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant field reimbursement experience.
• Experience in similar or adjacent monitoring roles is highly preferred.
• Strong and proven expertise in market access and reimbursement.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in the field and present to diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong capability to articulate value in a field reimbursement position.
• A Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to successfully meet minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience and knowledge within the field reimbursement medical device industry.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 40% based on business requirements.
• US work authorization is required; candidates needing sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.
• Must live in or within commuting distance of the posted locations.
• Preference for alignment with Pacific time zone core hours, though not required.
