Senior Manager, Business Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of consultants and project professionals in executing Guidewire implementations.

• Deliver exceptional outcomes while fostering team development and strategic growth.

• Collaborate with Engagement Managers, customer executives, architects, developers, and product teams.

• Maintain ACE certification in various Guidewire products and comprehend the interactions within the InsuranceSuite product suite.

• Set standards for business requirements, solution design, documentation, configuration, and requirements management.

• Facilitate business elaboration sessions addressing Guidewire and related capabilities, including integrations, reporting, analytics, forms, and data.

• Define business requirements and validate solution designs utilizing Guidewire products and technology.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance delivery productivity and foster innovation.

• Lead functional or technical workstreams for large-scale customer implementations of Guidewire.

• Mentor and supervise Business Analysts and consultants.

• Review and approve business requirements and solution designs.

• Align enhancements with customer objectives while optimizing out-of-the-box Guidewire functionalities.

• Anticipate implementation risks and devise mitigation strategies.

• Resolve complex business and application challenges in collaboration with Guidewire and customer teams.

• Advise client business leaders and enterprise architects on regulatory, financial, and operational requirements.

• Provide guidance to customers on business process optimization, solution design, and implementation strategies.

• Lead and develop Professional Services consultants through coaching, career development, and performance feedback.

• Promote accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence.

• Present business and solution roadmaps to senior stakeholders.

• Support pre-sales activities, including solution reviews, estimates, and proposal development.

• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and Cloud Operations.

• Contribute to business architecture standards, playbooks, reusable delivery assets, and innovation initiatives.

• Engage in architecture forums and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Represent Professional Services in strategic cross-functional initiatives and innovation pilots.

• Achieve a 65% utilization target in this billable role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in enterprise software business architecture implementation and delivery.

• Profound expertise in implementing Guidewire InsuranceSuite products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.

• Client-facing consulting experience with a Guidewire System Integrator (SI) Partner in delivering Guidewire implementation programs.

• Expertise in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.

• Experience in one or more core business domains such as Claims, Underwriting, Distribution, Policy Administration, or Billing.

• Ability to define business application solutions across multiple workstreams and enterprise programs.

• Capability to develop business requirements that optimize Guidewire's base functionality.

• Experience collaborating with customer program managers, architects, technical teams, and executive stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting pre-sales activities, including solution estimation and proposal reviews.

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and Guidewire Cloud implementation strategies.

• Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate consulting teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related analytical discipline.

• Willingness to travel 40% in alignment with customer needs and practice leadership.
