📋 Description

• Recognize and assess automation opportunities within healthcare revenue cycle functions, such as patient access, coding, billing, claims management, payment posting, denials, collections, and reporting.

• Oversee and implement automation project plans, timelines, deliverables, and activities related to implementation.

• Prioritize automation projects in collaboration with operational stakeholders based on business requirements and their impact.

• Monitor implementation milestones, risks, and results.

• Lead comprehensive process analysis to detect inefficiencies, bottlenecks, rework, and operational risks.

• Standardize workflows and operational practices to enable scalable automation solutions.

• Revamp workflows to enhance productivity, quality, turnaround time, and employee experience.

• Track, project, and report KPIs concerning automation performance, operational efficiency, financial results, and adoption rates.

• Oversee implementation, testing, deployment, lifecycle management, and optimization of automation technologies.

• Collaborate with IT, data, analytics, vendors, operations, finance, compliance, and executive leadership.

• Ensure that automation solutions comply with security, audit, and regulatory standards.

• Convert operational challenges into scalable automation solutions and actionable business requirements.

• Assist in change management, training, and user adoption efforts.

• Relay project updates, risks, outcomes, and ROI to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Coordinate cross-functional implementation activities while providing mentorship and expertise in the subject matter.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing, documentation, and training concerning automation initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, finance, operations, or a related field is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, process improvement, automation, project management, or related roles.

• 3–5 years of experience leading automation projects, process improvement initiatives, or cross-functional implementations.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle functions, workflows, payer processes, and regulatory considerations.

• Experience implementing automation technologies and process improvement initiatives in complex healthcare settings.

• Capability to support cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with operational, technical, and business stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Candidates must be residents of the United States; US Anesthesia Partners does not employ candidates from California, Hawaii, or Alaska.

• Experience with healthcare platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, Meditech, or similar systems is preferred.

• Familiarity with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar platforms is preferred.

• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or related certifications are preferred.

• Experience supporting AI-enabled workflow automation or process transformation initiatives is preferred.

• Knowledge of HIPAA and CMS regulations is preferred.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
