This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Establish the vision and strategic direction for global post development.
• Lead the worldwide strategy for CNC post development, validation, and support.
• Define technical standards to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability.
• Direct teams engaged in multi-axis, mill-turn, Swiss-type, and intricate machine kinematics.
• Act as the executive escalation point for significant technical challenges.
• Investigate AI-driven development and automation technologies.
• Mentor, coach, and enhance globally distributed technical teams.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, innovation, and a customer-centric approach.
• Attract, nurture, and retain top technical talent.
• Evaluate organizational capabilities, structure, and future workforce requirements.
• Bring together teams across various regions, cultures, and time zones.
• Partner with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and regional leadership.
• Convert market opportunities and customer demands into scalable technical solutions.
• Enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness through KPIs and ongoing improvement.
• Ensure the Post Development organization aligns with business expansion and technological advancement.
• Report directly to the President of GibbsCAM.
• Travel internationally up to 30% to support initiatives, customer requirements, and collaboration.
• Proven leadership experience in managing technical or engineering teams within a global context.
• Extensive knowledge of CNC machining, CNC programming, G-code, and post-processing technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of modern manufacturing processes and machine dynamics.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, organizational growth, and technical quality.
• Capability to influence and collaborate effectively across different functions and regions.
• Experience utilizing modern technologies, including AI-enabled tools, digital workflows, and software-driven manufacturing ecosystems.
• GibbsCAM experience is preferred.
• Previous role as a CAM Application Engineer is preferred.
• Experience working with OEMs, manufacturing clients, or reseller networks is preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives is preferred.
