Provider Issue Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete workflow of provider production incidents.

• Address escalated or intricate cross-functional production challenges.

• Facilitate and communicate on cross-functional issues among Business, Technology, and the issue management team throughout the ticket workflow management process.

• Recognize and drive the resolution of root causes for production incidents in collaboration with technology and business teams.

• Monitor, manage, and report on the status of escalated issues, critical paths, dependencies, and risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree along with 5 years of experience in Technology, which includes experience in Project Management, OR a total of 9 years of experience in Technology, including Project Management experience.

• Capability to influence and implement effectively.

• Proficient in managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and making trade-off decisions.

• Proactively identifies problems and escalates them as necessary.

• Strong analytical thinking and consultative problem-solving skills.

• Experience in vendor and SLA management.

• Familiarity with project and portfolio management tools such as MS Project, CBA, PPM, or PMP.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

• Solid business acumen and knowledge of provider application domains.

• Experience in managing matrix partner relationships.

• Understanding of provider platforms/applications and DevOps processes.

• Sponsorship is not available, including for individuals currently on OPT.

• Preferred: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Technology.

• Preferred: Ability to integrate solutions across various systems.

• Preferred: Adaptability and capacity to manage change effectively.

• Preferred: Creative thinking skills.

• Preferred: Experience in a highly outsourced or offshore working environment.
