Senior Mainframe zOS Network Host Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Install and maintain the Mainframe Network for zOS.

• Manage VTAM, TCPIP, and SNA protocols.

• Oversee file transfer protocols, incident management, and change planning.

• Address complex issues and pinpoint potential future challenges across platforms and services.

• Administer systems data for clients.

• Deliver daily solutions while ensuring security compliance.

• Supervise assignment queues and collaborate directly with technicians.

• Prioritize support tickets to provide effective solutions for clients.

• Suggest modernization strategies.

• Discover new business prospects.

• Build and maintain relationships with teams and stakeholders.

• Work in partnership with diverse teams and clients across various industries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in installing and maintaining the Mainframe Network for zOS.

• Responsible for managing VTAM, TCPIP, and SNA protocols.

• Familiarity with file transfer protocols, incident management, and change planning.

• Strong English communication skills for effective meetings with clients, partners, and colleagues.

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• Knowledge of z/OS Network products, including COMM SERVER BASE SUPPORT, VTAM APPN, OMPROUTE, SMTP, SSH, TCPIP stack on LPAR, Encrypted FTP (SSL/TLS), AT/TLS including PAGENT, IPSec/VPN including PAGENT and IKED, z/OS Load Balancing Advisor (LBA), TCPIP Enterprise Extender, TN3270 servers, and Dynamic VIPA.

• Preferred: Experience with Connect Direct for Mainframe.

• Preferred: Familiarity with RACF/ACF2, CL SuperSession, IBM NetView, Access/Multisess Services, IBM Session Manager, CA Teleview, CA TPX, CA Solve, CA NETMASTER, Network Director, MacKinney Switch, and mainframe network printer products (VVP, JQP).
