Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – Infrastructure Engineering, SMP/E

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Execute systems programming on IBM z/OS / MVS platforms

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and provide support for software through SMP/E

• Manage mainframe software applications

• Utilize JCL, ISPF/TSO, VTAM, and TCP/IP technologies

• Offer support for IBM Connect, CA Session Manager, and CA Spool

• Contribute to the infrastructure, architecture, and design of mainframe systems

• Employ and support BMC AMI tools

• Deliver technical leadership and oversee projects/programs

• Engage in communication with stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM z/OS / MVS Systems Programming

• Proficient in SMP/E for software installation, maintenance, upgrades, and support

• Skilled in mainframe software administration and installation

• Familiarity with JCL and ISPF/TSO

• Knowledgeable in VTAM and TCP/IP

• Experience with IBM Connect, CA Session Manager, and CA Spool

• Understanding of the infrastructure, architecture, and design of mainframe systems

• Proficient with BMC AMI tools, including AMI OPS Automation, AMI OPS Monitors, or AMI Output Management

• Capable of providing technical leadership, managing projects/programs, and communicating with stakeholders
