Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – Infrastructure Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Execute systems programming on IBM z/OS / MVS platforms

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and provide support for software using SMP/E

• Oversee the installation and administration of mainframe software

• Utilize JCL and ISPF/TSO for various tasks

• Administer VTAM and TCP/IP environments

• Work with IBM Connect, CA Session Manager, and CA Spool tools

• Support the infrastructure, architecture, and design of mainframe systems

• Utilize BMC AMI tools including AMI OPS Automation, AMI OPS Monitors, or AMI Output Management

• Provide technical guidance and manage projects/programs effectively

• Engage in communication with stakeholders

• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM z/OS / MVS Systems Programming

• Proficient in software installation, maintenance, upgrades, and support using SMP/E

• Experience in the installation and administration of mainframe software

• Familiarity with JCL and ISPF/TSO

• Proficient in managing VTAM and TCP/IP

• Experience with IBM Connect, CA Session Manager, and CA Spool

• Understanding of mainframe systems infrastructure, architecture, and design

• Proficient with BMC AMI tools such as AMI OPS Automation, AMI OPS Monitors, or AMI Output Management

• Demonstrated technical leadership, project/program management, and effective communication with stakeholders
