Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Computer Vision

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create Computer Vision models designed to analyze images of organic or biological materials.

• Identify key features and biomarkers pertinent to medical evaluations.

• Assist in the diagnosis and analysis of biological samples.

• Collaborate closely with an international team based in the US.

• Take an independent approach to technical challenges and suggest solutions.

• Demonstrate a high degree of technical ownership and influence the development of solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience in Computer Vision; suitable for seasoned Senior-level engineers.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Strong foundation in Machine Learning.

• Practical experience with Computer Vision and image processing techniques.

• Familiarity with at least one major Machine Learning framework, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Capability to independently tackle technical challenges and propose solutions.

• Proficient in English, with a level of C1 or higher.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed international team.

• Willingness to work approximately 12:00-20:00 Polish time, with some flexibility to adjust the schedule to ensure adequate overlap with teams in Boston and San Francisco.

• Experience in medical imaging.

• Background in working with biological or microscopy images.

• Previous experience in MedTech, healthcare, biotechnology, or life sciences sectors.

• Experience in developing Machine Learning solutions for image-based diagnostic applications.

• Familiarity with working in highly specialized or scientific fields.
