Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create modular and scalable real-time data pipelines to manage large datasets

• Propose, execute, and oversee architectural enhancements for big data machine learning pipelines

• Comprehend and apply custom machine learning algorithms in a low-latency setting

• Engage in microservice architectures that facilitate training, inference, and monitoring of thousands of machine learning models simultaneously

• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Engineering teams, and the CTO/Co-Founder

• Develop pipelines and advertising optimization models for StackAdapt's digital advertising platform

⛳️ Requirements

• Capacity to dissect ambiguously defined tasks into actionable steps

• Ability to see complex projects through to completion, both independently and by coordinating with others

• Profound understanding of algorithms, software design, concurrency, and data structures

• Experience in implementing probabilistic or machine learning algorithms

• Background in designing scalable distributed systems

• High GPA from a prestigious Computer Science program or equivalent experience in a competitive, innovative technology company
