AI/ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mali.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to address intricate business challenges.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities in AI/ML.

• Preprocess and cleanse large datasets, conduct feature engineering, and perform exploratory data analysis.

• Develop and sustain scalable ML pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment.

• Enhance existing ML models to improve performance and efficiency.

• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply best practices.

• Contribute to the formulation of AI/ML strategies and roadmaps.

• Mentor junior team members and disseminate knowledge through documentation and presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in AI/ML development.

• Strong expertise in Python, with experience in R or Java.

• Proficient in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

• Experience with deep learning methods, natural language processing, and computer vision.

• Familiar with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.

• Proficient in utilizing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Strong grasp of statistical analysis and mathematical principles.

• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment.

• Demonstrated success in implementing and deploying ML models in production settings.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills with the capability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

• Awareness of current AI/ML trends and best practices.

• Relevant certifications are advantageous.
